Countdown to Geo-10
This year’s Geo-10 trade show is the UK's foremost geospatial trade exhibition featuring two days of conferences, free seminars, live product demos and great networking opportunities. Held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry by organisers PV Publications, the annual show will run 24th - 25th March 2010 and promises to showcase the latest from the world of geospatial surveying.
SED 2010 Cancelled
After much debate and speculation, the 44th SED show due to be held in May 2010 at the Rockingham Arena has been cancelled.
How has 2009 been for us?
2009 shall forever be a year remembered for its challenging economic conditions, with industry as a whole feeling a squeeze on cash flow and a drop of confidence in spending. Given the fact that our customer base is rooted heavily in the construction industry, 2009 has seen some of the most difficult trading conditions on record. Despite this, Phoenix Survey & Safety has reported some of the best trading months in company history.
Bam Construction and Phoenix invest in education
The Construction and Built Environment qualification is new to Bridgwater College. The course has a requirement of at least 50% delivery through applied learning, using real life and working situations to put the learning into context. The college is required to develop new relationships with industry to support this, and BAM construction has been on-hand to assist.
