Surveying equipment in Archaeology
As high tech survey equipment and mapping techniques are now more regularly used by archaeologists worldwide, Phoenix will be displaying the Topcon GRS-1 – a Windows Mobile 6.5 GNSS Network Rover with integrated camera, which offers real time surveying and setting out on local or Ordnance Survey grid. Site demonstrations can be arranged to allow potential users to fully experience the benefits of GPS and learn how surveying equipment can be used to revolutionise archaeology.
